- Zaragoza Tram
Contract for the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance, as well as the provision of rolling stock, for a period of 35 years, for Line 1 of the Zaragoza Tram, representing 12.80 km.
Line 1 of the Zaragoza Tram runs from Parque Goya, in the north of the city to the Valdespartera neighbourhood in the south. It crosses the old quarter in a catenary-free section and has a total of 33 stations and 21 vehicles, each one 32 metres long, which provide a high frequency service along the line.
The contract includes the renovation of the service networks and the urban integration of the streets through which it passes, the construction of sheds and workshops, park and ride facilities and a transport hub.
The project is currently in operation following conclusion of construction in 2013.
