- Roda de Barà Marina
The Roda de Bará Marina, located in Costa Dorada, is one of the most modern wharfs in Spain, and the largest in the cost of Tarragona. The marina is named after Roda de Bará, a town located 10 minutes away from the city of Tarragona. The marina has been designed with the utmost care, aiming at meeting not only the technical requirements for all kinds of boats but also at providing comfort, rest and pleasure to marina users.
The Roda de Bará Marina has a surface area of 191,771 m2, of which 97,217 m2 are on dry land and 94,554 m2 are on-water. The Roda de Bará Marina comprises 640 berths to meet the needs of any kind of boats: from 8 to 45 meters in length.
The facility includes a light sail area of a surface area of 1,500 m2, a dry-dock with a 898 m2-floor, adapted for boats of up to 7 meters in length, and a boatyard of over 9,000 m2 allowing the performance any kind of works. There is also a maintenance services building of 408 m2 and a 10-ton-capacity crane.
Some of the services provided at the marine are fuel services, toilets, WI-FI, surveillance, seamanship, diving, dry storage, cleaning and overhauling and a selective waste collection system, including used oil and filters.
The contract includes the design, construction and financing of a 42-km highway and the subsequent operation of 74 km, consisting of the new section and an existing 32-km section.
