ACCIONA takes part in European Infrastructure Finance Summit

ACCIONA is taking part in the European Infrastructure Finance Summit (EIFS) organised by the Inframation agency, which is being held at the Hotel Riu Plaza de España in Madrid on 16 and 17 October.

During the event the leading European players from the infrastructure sector, including developers, investors, financiers and government officials, will discuss emerging markets and new forms of investment. There will also be the opportunity to analyse the solutions that are being devised to tackle global challenges such as climate change and political instability.

On the first day, Alberto Díaz del Río, Global Head of Origination & Partnering in the concessions business of ACCIONA, is part of the panel of experts discussing the theme “Developers reborn: finding value in an inflated market”, alongside other infrastructure developers.

Future investment strategies and the way in which developers are tackling the new market situation will be just some of the key issues for this discussion panel. It will also analyse the viability of the PPP model and concessions in Europe, as well as the rise of new project models.
